Only one Sunset Friday at Belmont
 

Fans of the Sunset Friday cards at Belmont Park will be disappointed to learn that the track will host only one such program this year, on June 18. The post time for all other Fridays will be 1 p.m. Eastern.

The myth about Sunset Racing is that it helps handle, which is far from the truth. It doesn't.

If Monmouth runs some sunset cards this meet, which I think was mentioned, their handle will suffer on those days.

They should have one Friday morning card with first post at 8am. Call it Dawn of the Dead.

LOL, I'd probably play it. Part of the fun of being in Vegas is the early start, especially if there's been little to no sleep the night before.

And The Honeymooners are no longer on WPIX (except on New Year's Day).

As much fun as I have had at twlight cards, I don't imagine it helps handle an ounce. Maybe the opposite.
