tom hanks and hbo does it again, just like band of brothers the pacific is a time warp back to ww2 this time in the sand and heat. just saw the first episode. :tro: :tro: :tro: :tro:

saw the Green Zone on Saturday.. thought it was pretty good. gotta love Matt Damon.

It still amazes me that Bush went to war on the premise of WMD's in Iraq and didnt find anything. What a terrible decision.

true..but the real issue that many wont like is..the best thing for the economy
is war.

the current deficit dwarfs the previous record, set in 1946. i think the belief that war helps the economy would be incorrect. if anything, wars bankrupt the treasury-which is what we are currently dealing with. if obama wants to get us back on the right track, the first thing he needs to do is end the two 'wars' we're involved in.

thats what he siad he was gonna do..yet i havent seen it..

easier said than done. Iraq seems to be on the right path (starting with Bush's surge).. and Afghanastan isnt something we can just pull out of.. at least we are attempting to get it more under control over there.

I'm withholding judgement on it. I was a little disappointed in it.
