Love that 7's pedigree.

RockHardTen1985 03-10-2010 02:52 PM

I herd the 5 might be ok in here, Im not even sure I beleive it. I plan on betting Walders horse, not much pedigree but I like all the stats and the speed over this course.

Cannon Shell 03-10-2010 07:51 PM

This bunch is proof that pedigree isnt everything

cannonman 03-10-2010 08:51 PM

As with most maiden races for older......

How's Orseno on the 2+ years off angle? :o
Dam just unleashes the best 3yo of 2003 and they decide to breed her to Sligo Bay. I'm all for supporting your own, but I have to think they'd like to get a mulligan on that one.

I would look at first time starters for pedigrees . Lejadami is a firster . They inisist on crossing her with Northern Dancer line sires . No success at all so far and Lejadami has the same cross . Merkabah is firster . First foal out of Canadian champion turf female Chopinina. Smokin Cat debuts here. Closely related to Sir Cherokee and Miss Isella. Holy Knight first start in over a year, 2nd lifetime. 2nd start Cheyenne Nation. 1/2 to Sporting Art and closely related to Defensive Play.

I believe an Indy colt (4 year old) out of a sister to Fusaichi Pegasus just broke his maiden by 9 lengths at GP. His first start came a few weeks ago when he closed well to finish 3rd in a 7 furlong sprint; his name is United States.

Wouldn't have mattered anyways.

Had you used it, you'd have either been out in an earlier race or this horse would have been left at the gate.

Another horse riding the bias. Wish his works would've made it more apparent that he has speed.

The ride Prado gave Cheyenne Nation was less than courageous, to put it mildly. Next time (with a different jock, I hope).

My play of the day today was Jove, when he got scratched I did not do much, I played about $45 worth of pick 3's, I got live into that turf race, nothing huge but enough to make a few $$$, went 5 deep and did not even include that horse, about 10 seconds after the race my cell is ringing... "Did you have it? Did you have it? I played $300 across, got the pick 3 only 5 times and the double 20 times... me- Congrats **** face"

I would have like to have heard what you said during the race, rather than after.
I bet you were yelling, "Die you bastard" at the top of the stretch.

So your guy was alive to the horse for a $5 Pick 3 and $20 DD ( which were paying big) then he goes and bets $300 across?.....Now that is confidence!!

I can see ignoring a tout from a friend when the horse is 2-1...but if the horse was 14-1 I would have at least had a $20 spot and a exacta box w/ the 4-5 fav....Just sayin..

RockHardTen1985 03-12-2010 10:00 AM

He said the guy who gave it to him was the owner, and they knew he was a stone cold runner, he said they had JC well in advane to ride when they where ready to debut and the works where all part of the plan.
