Candy Ride rated #1 synthetic sire...

Sires based in California and Canada were excluded.

Candy Ride's offspring win at 20% on dirt - and the book of mares he's been bred to hasn't exactly been all that impressive. Understandable that breeders would be skeptical about a son of sire Ride The Rails who only managed making 6 career starts ... even though he was an absolute freak on both dirt and turf.

Red Bullet #7?

Surprised you haven't picked up on the Red bullet's on Synth...they seem to love it.

I was surprised that UnB Song was not higher.

Does Candy Ride have a Grade 1 Winner going 2 turns on any surface? He's def. got that 7f thing covered.

Yes. Misremembered. 10 furlong Santa Anita Handicap.

I can't believe Misremembered got 10 furlongs after seeing what he did in the Pacific Classic. Oh well.

He's the same Candy Ride that has the only 2-turn Grade 2. I suggest Jenny Craig give Sidney's Candy to Baffert (if she wants him to get 10f.) Guess St. Trinians ain't the female Jesus you thought would take down Zenyata.

I can. Baffert has had a lot of poor performers lately. Like that 3 year old (Wednesday, or Friday) that couldn't come close to getting 2 turns. So, he needed this badly. I'll wait until the testing is done. The horse looked full of run the whole race. Not the way he looked 3 weeks ago today. Big upgrade in energy.

Chocolate Candy was 2nd by a length to the great POTN in last years Santa Anita Derby.

His oldest offspring are only 4-year-olds and he got a very mediocre book of mares to start with.

That's all going to be lost on you though as you think a very fast paced race at 10fs and a very slow paced one at 9fs are the same thing.
