Guess he was just TOO FAST. (Figures don't lie).

Should we suppose that Contessa never sent him around a turn in workouts?

Sucks, cause NYRA so desperately needed a FAST SUPERSTAR.

randallscott35 02-06-2010 12:32 PM

Looked like equipment to me.

jms62 02-06-2010 12:33 PM

Does Choppy lose the mount?

What makes you think he isnt the the most likely winner of the Gotham? the horse didnt look hurt, he blew the turn and the jock pulled him up.

Hickory Hill Hoff 02-06-2010 12:35 PM

No "bridge jumpers" though

Did you bet him at 1/5?

It seemed pretty likely the horse is okay dude, so go take your meds and hopefully you'll feel better.

Perhaps my comment about him running huge was more about those ridiculous expectations and hype than it was about him being hurt.

Or maybe it was the comments made on TVG how he was acting perfectly and looked the picture of health, etc.

You're a tard.

Obviously.

I think the winter is getting to some people....I'm applying Prozac to this thread.

mclem0822 02-06-2010 12:56 PM

Andy just tweeted that the horse is OK and Chavez is off all his mounts.

Actually, I do have a pretty good idea. He was rank going into the turn.

That should be a pretty good clue.

Maybe the fact that after he was pulled up he jumped two rails and dumped Chavez might also be a clue.

They showed him being cooled off and he looked fine.

It was pretty obvious he went mental. Unless you bet him, I guess.

Coach Pants 02-06-2010 01:15 PM

I had the 3. LOL

Sharp post. Especially clever how you manage to redboard the "expectations and hype" as absurd. Good call there, notwithstanding the timing.
