Thor's Echo

Blast from the past, he's back after a 17 month layoff...

(Race 5 incase the link automatically goes to the first race).

What's up with Oasis Star the following day?

She's a 6-year-old mare bred in India (not to be confused with Indiana's powerhouse breeding program)

She's sired by Bobby Frankel's former Grade 1 winning turfer Senure.

She was 6-for-6 last year and 6-5-1-0 in 2008. In her lone defeat in '08, she got beat a nose by a horse whom she carried 21lbs more than.

Chief Seattle has been sent to Indiana and he's a good sire so he should help there.

I had Friendly Island at 70-1 and didn't use Thors at all. Place money covered the race at $50 for $2 or whatever but UGH

I was alive to 5 horses in that race for the Pick 4 on a $20 ticket (1x4x1x5)

Too Much Bling
Bordonaro
Kellys Landing
War Front
Henny Hughes:rolleyes:

I still can't believe Ouija Board was 7-5 that day. Probably one of the easiest gimme singles in the history of the BC.

DIdn't Thor's Echo also win the DeFrancis in 2006?

The Bid 02-04-2010 04:06 PM

Today he was **** on by a horrible group of sprinters. That was a bad race, period.

Somebody decent got cut off in that. T. E. ran well, but it really was a 2 horse race, n' the best horse got cut off. Not like it was a nice field. Well, lets face it, until he gets back whateva flavor the twice-caught cheater was giving him, he probably won't fire. He was so one-paced in the stretch today. Should of run 5th, or so, but the rest of them were doing the same (even the winner.).......... Even in the Derby, Street Sense was giving up some ground late. Only on the Bias Cup Day, did Street Sense act like he jumped on the back of a motorbike. Did he ever increase his lead going to wire again? Mainly just trying to hold on at the wire.
