Sar 3rd today

Any opinions? Looks like a field of horses who failed to live up to some lofty expectations: Scipon, Reverberate and AP Arrow. Throw in the vastly improved Take the Bluff, and the outsiders Backchat and Irish Majesty and you have yourself a nice betting race.

AP Arrow- Been off a while, first time Pletcher, nice works, fond of track. Wont be any kind of price but logical to be there when the real running starts.

Take the Bluff- Nice race over the track, seems to like this distance.

Scipon- At once promising horse, likes to come from far behind. Bancone is 50% with blinkers off winning 5 out of 10. Likely overbet.

Irish Majesty- Looks too slow for these.

Backchat- Hails from hot barn, comes off brief freshening. Could fit well here.

Reverberate- If they all ran their best races, he'd win. Willing to give him the benefit of a doubt in a race loaded with question marks.

Tough race.

Unless you really like someone , there seem to be many better opportunities today.

The Bluff runner from Wimborne is my strictly sentimental choice, and I would expect a better than anticipated price.

Good luck here!

Take the Bluff is lone speed. Unload on him.

absolutely paceless race.

I dont know about that Dell. While we may not see any 22 and change type fractions, Reverberate has back speed and pretty much has no choice but to go early in here given the short field and outside post. Take the Bluff can go. AP Arrow has some fast works and may opt to be closer than ever today.

I may take a shot with Reverberate if the price is right. AP Arrow promise to take more money than he deserves. Take the Bluff will also lead bettors to the windows being "lone speed" and having a recency edge over most of these. Scipon almost always takes money. Reverberate's comebacker was pretty awful but that was after almost a year away, that will scare people from betting him. Not the worst stab in this field if you can get 9/2 or higher.

I bet Take the Bluff last time. That was a tough effort....AP looks tough to me.
