Thanks Steve! Didn't know about that one.

It's a great addition and something Travis wanted to see done after taking care of the same thing for Louisiana Downs.

Fantastic. I wish other tracks would do the same.

Why does CA give us live racing, as does Keeneland, and a few others, and other tracks only give delayed feeds if you do not have an account. I know the NYRA feels their feed is valuable and receives $ for it. But c'mon the industry has to wake up. Give us live feeds for free from all tracks!!

Do they offer the head on replays? Neither race replays or twinspires shows them anymore because of Magna. Anybody know where the head-ons can be seen?

Promotion seems to be a long lost art.

Twinspires shows them. You have to log directly into Twinspires TV, select race replays --> track, date and camera angle.

Thanks. I was specifically trying to do so for the Holy Bull and I received the error message. Must be just for that race because it worked on earlier races from that day.

I would send them an email to see if they can fix it, they have a pretty good customer service/tech department.

Whatching some of these turf race replays reminds me how much I miss seeing Rene Douglas ride. :(

It's one of my bigger beefs about having to pay for some service. Sure if racing means a lot to you you can pay like others do for, oh I dunno, the NFL channel or something. Still, it's lousy for promotion, esp. with new people. Who coughs up $50 to try out a niche sport on a niche channel when they barely watch the Derby for free every year on network tv? Of course we all feel like we're shouting at the wind when we gripe about lack of effective marketing of the sport, I suppose.

I was poking around after going to the Gulfstream feed, watching other races that got my attention on the 'related videos', and realized I'd never rewatched the 2006 Preakness after it was on tv. Only re-watched the part where Barbaro got hurt because it got replayed over and over again. Usually I see these replays a million times but maybe it was too difficult. I know it wasn't a conscious choice to ignore it, but I did apparently. I didn't even pay much attention while it was happening because, like a lot of folks, I was in shock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhtW5...eature=related Can I just say wow, Bernardini was pretty fantastic and boy did he get the short end of the stick that day. Weird to watch it around the anniversary of Barbaro's death but I have a new appreciation for Bernardini now.
