Jerry Moss just said....
"Rachel run in restricted races all year except once."
WTF does he think those stakes that Zenyatta was running in all year where? |

Seven of the eight races Rachel ran in, Zenyatta could not have entered. Rachel could have run in every one of the races Zenyatta ran in.

He should've said that RA ran against horrible fillies, mediocre 3yo colts, and bad older horses all year … then stayed in the barn on Championship Saturday.

All of Favorite Trick's races were VERY restricted when he was beating up on horrendous competition like Dawson's Legacy and Nationalore in moderate time....
All while Skip Away ran 10 Beyers of 115 or more that year - including a 6 length win in the Breeders Cup Classic for one of his three figs of 120 or more that year. Not to mention the spectacular Silver Charm beat incredibly high quality fields in the Derby and Preakness - and Formal Gold ran 3 of the most amazing races you'll ever see. |

Whatever. I'm just glad I don't have to listen anymore to Jerry Bailey whining about how Rachel didn't run in the Travers.

It was a great performance. As was the Haskell that RA thrashed Munnings and Summer Bird. |

Put it this way. If they had met up in one of those races, win or lose, Zenyatta would not have run in the BC Classic. The way I see it, Jess Jackson helped Zenyatta make racing history, too. |
