34K more troops to Afghanistan
over nine mos. begining in March can't fault Obama for this as he is listening to his Generals
|
What a mess. Get them out of that hell hole. Not to mention we can't afford it.
|
Whatever happened to Code Pink? Are they still camped out in Crawford TX? Does the media just ignore them since Obama took office?

Afghanistan is a different situation. I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out. I'm not sure more troops in that "country" is the answer. There is a lot at stake. If we are seen more and more as an occupying force it might go downhill fast. The Taliban is seen as the home team to a lot of Afghans. I just hope there is some kind of plan.

Good for Obama.. right decision IMO. listen to the guy in charge over there and do what is right for the situation. It only took 3 months but hey, he cant say he rushed the decision!
|
Yes Obama and Bush neck and neck with Hoover so far.

My reference was to some of the GOP, who started publically complaining about cost a couple days ago, but then apparently were told by party elders, "No, shush, we are FOR this! " :D |

I've said this several times to you before, you just choose to ignore it. I have been GOP my whole life, this is the first time I've ever voted for a Dem for President (Obama). The GOP has always liked taking my donation money, too. Never said I was a Carter fan, in fact I've told you the opposite. That I don't make posts you deem "conservative", again, really doesn't matter to me. |
