'Lloyd' fires 5f near bullet gate work..

Lloydobler, (the renamed Harold Carmichael), worked 'handily' from the Belmont Training Track gate this morning zipping 5f in 1:01.01 under apprentice rider Chris Fox. The work was the 2nd fastest of 28 on the day, with Brake Lights, an unraced 2yo Saint Liam colt, going a tick faster (1:00.81).

Lloyd broke from the machine with a Colum O'Brien trainee who could not keep up after a quarter mile. Our Smarty Jones son was a tad slow changing leads for Fox, but finished strongly once the change came. As is his custom, he galloped out well past the wire. Lloyd will formally get his gate card the next time he goes to it, and would appear to be on target for a debut before the Aqueduct main track season ends in mid-December.

Steve - Can you please let us know when Lloyd's next gate work gets planned? Would like to check it out.

Thanks!

"HC" is doing very well in Saratoga. He likes it here a lot. His shins healed up great, and he is eager as can be in the morning. Mostly goes with a workmate, but yesterday he went out on his own and went super. No timetable, but November-ish debut distinctly possible.

RIGHT ON SCHEDULE...NICE WORK.. Now how much is going to pay when he wins first out???!!!!

Come on Freddy...you forgot to let anyone know Komodo was all set up for another win at Penn...could've cashed in on that one but I missed the thread. Only messing around...congrats on the win. You're killing them at Penn.

Good luck to DeeTee with Lloydobler.
