Harold's new name..

We are simply not going to get anything close to Harold Carmichael name-wise...

With that, I have three new names for people to consider. Please vote...

Valevictorian (Play off of Valedictorian.. 'Smarty/I Aim High' ties)

Scholarleigh (Play off of the 'Smarty' angle again)

Lloydobler (Play off of character Lloyd Dobler who 'Aims High' wooing Diane Court.. Think carefully)

LLOYDOBLER is very cool...

voted for valevictorian but i also like Lloydobler.

I voted none of the above. However, I do now like Valevictorian. Will sound great as he is coming around the far turn and heading to the wire, first!!

I know your not taking new ones but "I am Jones" has a nice ring to it.

Noneoftheabove :d

Lloydobler is over the top... and fantastic! I can see fans standing on the apron with boomboxes right now.

Many Others 11-10-2009 10:04 PM

voted for noneoftheabove earlier but after long thought, would retract and vote:

Valevictorian - yes, would have a real nice ring to it coming down the lane - or if you're looking for something scholarly, how about "Drexel" - located in Philly, no??? those boys thought they were pretty smart, well until they got caught lol...

Lloydobler - well, hafta admit it's clever ..

It must be very hard to try to find any name that will please everyone. In fact, it might be the worst job since key master...

I vote Valevictorian, agreed it would have nice ring as Durkin calls this name as he opens up in the stretch.

Too bad None of the Above has been used. I could hear Tom Durkin calling out that name. (Maybe he already has....)

why not just herald, heraldry? sounds the same, we'd know what it's supposed to mean...

to be honest, i'd probably like scholarly, but don't like the spelling of scholarleigh.

Scholarly isn't available. And I'm not confident they give us Scholarleigh either.

I tried the Herald route. There's a number of names with 'Herald' in it. Tried Hayroll... Hayrol'd... etc...
