I thought this was funny only because I played varsity soccer and there are a bunch of brutal b!tches out there - especially in Canada when you only have one ref and he is just watching the ball.

That was way more than a hair pull. Did you actually watch the video? She went at knees, threw punches, threw elbows...as well as the hair pulling.

I am not defending Spikes in any way shape or form, I am saying this chick was worse. For some reason, maybe because she is a female, people think it is funny. If this was a highlight reel of a men's soccer player doing these things, the outcry would be for a permanent suspension.

I agree. If she had done any of that stuff against any men's professional soccer players, at least 4 of them would have been taken off on stretchers, possibly in body bags. These ladies need to learn how to fake injuries, if they want to be taken seriously as true soccer players.
