Went off at 7 to 1. Pretty good effort for 3rd, considering the trip he had. Looks like he could use more distance.

For what it's worth, Matt Carrothers said he would not be a maiden much longer.

Not sure what was wrong with his trip. The winner had a much tougher go of it. Lentenor looks like he could be OK, but he was clearly third best today.

Being buried on the inside has been a curse all meet at KEE.

The winner was inside too, and he had to pinball with another horse to get clear.

Watch the replay- he's in the 3 path most of the way, then gets bumped exiting the turn, moves inside to the rail in the stretch, doesn't gain any ground, moves off the rail to the 3 path again and blasts away. Basically every horse on the rail has pretty much run like they were in quicksand.
