Tebow is an acquired taste.

because the media makes him out to be superman or the second coming and it's gotten old. plenty other guys volunteer thier time, get good grades and are pretty good football players with only half the talent around them. they don't get the ink tebow does. :zz:

Just a difference of opinion. Personally, I never tire of hearing about someone that feels a call and desire to help those much less fortunate than they are. The kid is amazingly selfless in an all too unfortunate era of "me first" college and pro athletics. I'd rather hear and read about a guy like Tebow as opposed to the plethora of kids/coaches trying to cheat the system.

Surprised that PSU football program didn't take a year or two off after the whoopin' they got in Pasadena. lol

I don't know about that.
Obviously nobody is going to confuse Nevada with a top-20 team any time soon, but they aren't exactly cupcakes. They've been pretty good the past few seasons and had quite a few guys back from an offense that was pretty good.
Beating them as easily as Notre Dame did was a lot more impressive than beating up on some MAC or Sun Belt team like many of the top teams did.

1) Navy, Tennessee, OK State, Greg Paulus at QB, and the Colonial Athletic Association (but was most impressed by BYU even though I expected it, when is the MWC going to be finally respected???)

2) My Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Nevada, the ACC

3) I certainly hope they do

4) Kentucky, Purdue, Syracuse (to make a bowl run)

5) I am sick of hearing about a future third string NFL QB.
