If you could breed Rachael......

What stallion would you pick for a mate?Stallion must be currently at stud.

The Indomitable DrugS 09-05-2009 06:55 PM

Cappachino

Cannon Shell 09-05-2009 06:58 PM

Swiss Yodeler

GPK 09-05-2009 07:00 PM

English Channel...but he'd need a step ladder.:tro:

RockHardTen1985 09-05-2009 07:00 PM

GIANTS CAUSEWAY.

Tiznow the first year, than I'd try a miler the next year like Discreet Cat or a horse like Hard Spun, I would not use Curlin as he's too course and I don't like plodders. I would also love to see her go to Empire Maker as well.

Does it matter what is the likelihood the first foal ever wins a Graded race nevermind a G1. I would imagine less then 50/50.

RockHardTen1985 09-05-2009 07:06 PM

I thought the idea was to breed her to Curlin first? Am I wrong, I thought I read it in on BH.com.

If she was bred to Swiss Yodeler the first foal would win, especially if they dropped her at Jess' vinyard and made her a CA bred. She'd be 3-5 on the future book for the 2 furlong races at SA

I think they should breed her to Medaglia D' Oro and create the fastest two-headed horse in history.

I thought that's what caused his problems in the first place. Or was the "spread eagle" an actual spread eagle?

Off the top of my head I'd send her to Street Cry...after some brief research, it's an A++ nick but I'm not convinced that's the only way to go. I'll keep looking around.

ETA: How is it the AP Indy-RA nick is a D with Music Note and Cobalt Blue on the cross? CB's not a world beater but he did win a graded stake. If you do Tapit-RA it's A+ with CB still included and it brings in Laragh as another from the cross.

Breeding her to Giacomo would be interesting. What would happen when you combine a speedy filly who can last a good distance with a plodder?

RockHardTen1985 09-05-2009 10:22 PM

Rock Hard Ten?

RockHardTen1985 09-05-2009 10:23 PM

I forgot about this potential GREAT stallion......
