Durkin's Call
Thata boy....
Pretty friggin awesome
The call. like the race was fantastic.
Now if we could just get him to learn to pronounce Kiawah Cat properly....
On his game.
I loved the comment after the race - "and if your heart can take it, we still have two more races for you" :tro: |
The best in the business... hands-down.
God I love my dvr, I couldnt hear it cause I was screaming my butt off as they turned for home. After sheding a tear(I know, I know) at what I just saw, I went back and watched it agian and he did a great job!
And someone should tell him the horse's name in the forego was mulitdude is not mulitude
I'm not big into calls and all that, but I just watched the race again and that just gave me goose bumps. Pretty cool!

I was pretty happy that he kept the "Rachel Alexander" slips to a minimum. 'Rachel Alexandra the Great' indeed.

I like your big race calls much better. Most of the Big Time race callers do an excellent job. It's like listening to baseball on the radio, some broadcasters style suit some people better then others. Vin Scully vs. John Sterling is night and day but both are pro's. Other then saying Durkin has lost a little in typical overnight races, he is still a terriffic listen. Your Cesario call is still my fav. |

there are many amazing announcers here and abroad But Durkin's call was almost as great as Rachel's performance!!! He was brilliant yesterday |
Hey, if none of the horses NEED TO SPROUT WINGS, I'm calling it good.
Seriously, Durkin stepped up big with a great call of a super effort by RA. |

On big race days Tom Durkin is the best racecaller we have.
I think one of my favorite Durkin calls is "Man oh Mandela, what a day!"
