Well ... I closed my eyes several times, not big on violence. It's realistic.

Saw it last night......

I think it's brilliant filmaking, Tarantino in top form here. It is a very violent film, as was the great Pulp Fiction another common trait is the wicked humor. Brad Pit is funny, and does a nice job in his role. I cannot say enough though about the star making performance of the Austrian actor Christoph Waltz as Colonel Hans Landa. He is absolutely mesmorizing in every scene he is in, the film is at it's best when he is on screen. The tension this guy creates in his performance right from the amazing opening sequence with the French farmer, is just incredible. It's an outstanding performance, that should certainly be remembered at awards time. The pacing of the film is pitch perfect, Quentin when he is on his game, is genius in terms of pacing scenes. It is a great film, not for everyone in terms of be warned about the violence. From a historical standpoint, I for one enjoyed the "twist" on history that Quentin puts in to conclude the film. :tro:

Agree, Waltz deserves Best Actor for this, and the historical twist was cheer-worthy :tro:
