NJ city wants curfew to combat crime

Now, admittedly, I haven't been anywhere near Patterson, NJ in over 10 years (thankfully), but there are only 2 good things about this city; the Great Falls, and Lou Costello. That's it.

i don't think this is going to happen. if they pass it, it won't last long. someone will challenge it.
of course, by the time the case dragged thru the courts, the two months would be over.

If a municipality can take away any right you have to keep and bear arms (even IN your home) why wouldn't they have a right to impose a curfew that is much less intrusive?

IMO I don’t believe either should stand up constitutionally in court but bad laws are written when you set bad precedent.

This will really help property values in Patterson. Anybody moving there?
