by Bob McKnight.. I get to chapter number 8 Comparison Control and on
Feb 01, 1962 @ Santa Anita... Race #4 Horse #4 Byk is the pick of the race , anywho Byk runs for a place finish... $ 6.20 / 5.40 (show)
I have no idea where I got this book, and its been sitting for years & I just picked it up to re-read.
I did find it funny where they say "" A Horse must of been run in the last 15-day limit, the previous one, the next to last thirty days."" In todays action.. how often do you find a horse in the pp's with two races in the last 30 days?

I also liked how they gave a index to the ""Morning Telegraph"" and all the tracks that are no longer with us...
Btw the Sprint Distance Standards.. 6F fast 1:12, gd-sy 1:13:1 , slow 1:14:2, muddy 1:15:3.... Gee times have changed !
