Huge Scores in NTRA AP qualifier
 

contest this past Sat was simple, start w/$500 real money bet all 10 races at AP and an additional 5 from any simulcasted track covered. Limited to exactly 15 total races. Must bet at least $500 total, any denomination per race W/P/S, exactas and tri's. No multi race bets. Top 3 qualify for Vegas

Top 3 w/ending bankroll and amount bet were

1) $8,578 on $1476 bet
2) $4,825 on $572 bet
3) $2,538 on $2,382 bet

even the 10th place finisher ended w/a $1,588 total. Amazing job by many.

That is some serious horseplaying.

I think a tv audience would eat this stuff up. Especially if complimented with smaller buy-in tourneys that viewers could play along with in real time. Much more dynamic than poker.

The third-place bet cracks me up; was that to show?
