NYRA's Website

Completely useless. Now even there live tote doesnt work. Nominations updated as of 2001 for Saturday's stake race the Vanderbilt.

Obvious they are spending very little money on their technology.

All of their money goes to organized crime. Get NYRA the hell out of the business. The best racing with the biggest idiots running it.

How can you not have a legit website? The Churchill website makes NYRA's look like the joke NYRA is.

Seriously, just bet fistfuls of money on Five Star Day. You won't regret it.

Gander 08-10-2006 12:38 PM

Thye are saying there is 49 minutes to post until race #1, which Hirapour won about 35 minutes ago.

Can you guys let me know who wins race #2 and what the win price was?

Thanks. I should know better than to have faith in a website that looks like it was designed by a 5th grader and operated by a chimpanzee.

I think Cunningham guy designed the churchill websites or had something to do with it. They are as good as it gets.

Gander 08-10-2006 12:44 PM

I am in the business. I will let you know how good they are. On a scale of 1-10 NYRA's site is about a 3 and thats because I am in a good mood.

Churchill/Ellis/Hollywood/Calder/etc. are probably the best. Always updated and easy to use. One thing I do like about NYRA is they have the free deal with RaceReplays.com to watch replays generally right after the race has finished. Most bigger tracks dont offer that type of feature...

TitanSooner 08-10-2006 12:54 PM

Calracing.com isn't a great looking website.. but you can view all the replays from the major Southen Cal/Northern Cal tracks. Youbet.net is a free site to sign up for and you can keep up with the odds and results there. The only drawback is the tracks are preselected and you only get an hour of free streaming video a day.... but it's free

Thats why you create a couple different accounts with different email addresses ;)

TitanSooner 08-10-2006 01:01 PM

true that.

Gander 08-10-2006 01:14 PM

Churchill's website is a lot better and very updated but its a little busy to be considered aesthetically joyful to the eye. Way too much going on but there at least they care enough to keep it informative. I'd give it about an 8.

thats why you watch the race...turn it off until the next race, etc....not rocket science.

Gander 08-10-2006 03:03 PM

Yeah, that works too lol. Its funny some days it cuts me off right after 1 hour and other days it never goes off. I've been watching Saratoga now since about quarter to 1 and I havent had a problem yet...
