Fabulous Strike vs Driven By Success

2 of the best sprinters in the country. Certainly Fabulous Strike is #1 and Driven By Success does nothing but run very fast and lose in gritty style to very good horses!

Sunday at Belmont, the Tom Fool.

This will be part 2 of what could be one off the greatest rivalries we have seen since Dave and Certifiably Crazy.

You are right...as far back as you would for Rachel vs Zenyatta. Both have met once, and now these 2 dazzling sprinters will make it twice. Trying to encourage people to tune in and wager on good matchups is positive for the game, no?

MUNNINGS is confirmed for the race as well.

I'm hoping the 3 year old Pletcher takes a lot of money in this spot. Think he'll be swimming very much upstream in here.

While I think very highly of Fabulous Strike, you have to remember that 7 furlongs pushes it a bit for him.

I know he is facing stiffer competition here, but he looked STRONG powering through the hole that opened up at the top of the stretch. He'll be tough to beat going 7 panels, imo.

I'm not betting Fabulous Strike at the even money he will be at. Its not so much the distance, its more that I like Driven by Success and think this is a great spot for him. With regards to Fabulous Strike, he is 0 for 3 at the distance, but look at 2 of his losses and how close they were. He lost the Carter by a nose. Dont be so fooled into thinking Fabulous Strike cant win at 7F, I think he can. Its just a matter of time. He really has only had 3 shots at it. To me he has a much better shot at this win than Munnings. But I will root for and bet Driven by Success if the price is right and I survive all the races prior to Sunday, beginning with Friday.

Going to be a real nice weekend of racing at Belmont, and Monmouth too.

Just an fyi that I'm suer you're already aware of. Don't overlook anything that T.A. Hills runs out there (not named Harry's WestgatePub). He seems to get the most out of his stock in spurts and is 4-2-0 out of his last 8 runners. Some okay prices to be had with his stock too.

I agree with this wkend's races, and best of luck to ya!!
