Pick 4s
 

I think the pick 4s are the most lucrative wagers offered at the top tracks but sometimes one race is soo bad you either have to push the "all" buttong, which can be very expensive, or simply pass the bet and go for the pick 3 if you think you've found a horse or 2 that can score at boxcar odds.

To that end, at Belmont today:

Forget the Pk-4 today - the 6th looks like a quagmire of inept horses & trainers

Late PK-3

Chinese Whisper + Hot Pace + Alabama Man

Princess Maura + Shared Account - LaRocca + Fast Tigress

Woodrunner (possible single) + Smart Enuf + Strong Impact

Post this in the selections section. And those wide open races are the ones you want in the PK4.

In a situation like this I would play small and basically take the bet you have already constructed and take a shot and single the 6th... If you hit the 6th than you could be in position to cash a big ticket.
