2 yr old filly by Dixie Union, just broke the 5f track record at CD.

Pretty impressive.

Decent pinhook on her from the Saratoga yearling sale (made $95K). She was 1 of 5 horses with the quickest times at Fasig Tipton.

I believe we'll see her in the Schuylerville on opening day at the Spa.

Yeah i do think Dixie Chick is HOOOOOOOOTTTTTT !!!!

Her dam, Above Perfection was very quick as well. I think she was a very close second to Xtra Heat in the Prioress a few years back, but did most of her racing in California (she was Cal-bred). Changed hands a couple of times in her career despite only running 10 times or so.

Last people to own her were that Mormon group (Classic something) that eventually had charges brought up because they were using church funds or something like that.

If you like her, you have to like the filly that beat her first out, Decelerator who was very professional in taking her down. Hot Dixie Chick might be vulnerable with some other early lick where surely there will be whereas Decelerator can pass horses.
