since Rangel called attention to an apparant problem in NYC I thought I'd share this problem in Arkansas which, with the exception of Alabama is the most red neck state I've ever been to and I've been to all minus Alaska and Hawaii.

i'll try not to take the casting of aspersions towards my home too personally. :D not sure how one quantifies the level of red-neckishness...but that's a whole different subject.

i saw earlier about the shooting and that they had made an arrest, but no other details at that time. it's a shame that the young man lost his life for no reason other than that he had joined the army. i feel awful for his family.
glad they caught the guy.

Poverty is what leads these young adults and children to violence. Expect many more of these violent acts in the years to come until it gets to the point where the government has an excuse to take the guns away...and they will.
