Proof the Financial Crisis Over

Taxpayers footed the bill for the big night on the town, which included a total of at least $24,000 for the three aircraft used to ferry the Obamas, aides and reporters to New York and back.

irresponsible deregulation of the markets: trillions and trillions.

dell suddenly aware of spending: priceless.

Lol ... the failed Bush-Cheney admin in a nutshell

Well done, god…

dellinger63 06-01-2009 09:05 AM

That's the talent of Obama. He can still do dinner and a show in NY while creating a carbon footprint that most can only dream about and kill civilians at the same time. Heating up the planet while spending the people's money.

President Hamid Karzai has said recent U.S. bombing and airstrikes in western Afghanistan's Farah province may have killed as many as 130 civilians.

Thank goodness Obama isn't matching the "carbon footprint and expense to the taxpayer" Bush gave us, when Bush flew Air Force one to Crawford every chance he got.

Edit: and at least Obama used the smaller, less-expensive jets

And you know Obama had nothing at all to do with that. Nice try.

I don't begrudge any of them a night off at our expense. It's a 24-7 job, and they can't exactly leave the company car in the driveway and take the Toyota out for a night on the town.

is Obama responsible for anything? Gitmo still open, gays still can't marry, wars still taking place on two fronts?

And now N. Korea and Iran sabre rattling with nuclear weapons, Isreal ready to strike Iran, a deficit that has increased more in a hundred days than in 8 years despite those expensive wars and we now have a Secretary of State who's best weapon is not talking to our enemies ouside of the Americas while she plugs her ears and watches the amazing caribean dancers dancing so close, while getting lectured by our enemies closer to home.

Guess that all is swept under the rug while we self mutilate for water boarding savages.

BO is responsible for cleaning up the horrific economic carnage caused by failed Bush-Cheney-GOP policies, dellinger.

So chill out ... and enjoy this gorgeous weather.

Come on now... Obama didnt know about that and we shouldnt blame him for that.

But then again Bush got blamed for everything whether he knew about it or not. It could rain in Oregon and Bush would be blamed.

But we conservatives need to be better than that Dell. Unfortunatly, it seems that the conservative Obama bashers are just as bad or worse than the liberal Bush bashers. I think whining non stop is counterproductive.

I can definitively say that this did not ever happen...unless it started to occur after 2006.

And either way, Oregon rain is nice....I don't recall ever being mad about it.

Oregon in general is great. Definately would love to live there some day.

it's funny , how the nancy pelosi story just died down lori

here we have the speaker of the house , the 3rd most important person in the gov't telling the american people that the CIA lied to her and then we have the CIA director telling the american people that she is wrong

Well were is the meida , this is a major story and it has been buried , to protect one of their own

If she has evidence that the CIA lied to her , turn it over to the justice dept and let the liars be prosecuted

If she has no evidence that they lied to her , she needs to go onto prime time tv and hold a press conference and tell the american people that she lied , at that point it will be up to her party , the majority party to come in and make a decision about her future

funny how that story just got buried

dellinger63 06-01-2009 02:45 PM

What about

" Rep. Jane Harman , the California Democrat with a longtime involvement in intelligence issues, was overheard on an NSA wiretap telling a suspected Israeli agent that she would lobby the Justice Department reduce espionage-related charges against two officials of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee, the most powerful pro-Israel organization in Washington.

In exchange for Harman's help, the sources said, the suspected Israeli agent pledged to help lobby Nancy Pelosi , D-Calif., then-House minority leader, to appoint Harman chair of the Intelligence Committee after the 2006 elections, which the Democrats were heavily favored to win

And that, contrary to reports that the Harman investigation was dropped for "lack of evidence," it was Alberto R. Gonzales, President Bush's top counsel and then attorney general, who intervened to stop the Harman probe.

Why? Because, according to three top former national security officials, Gonzales wanted Harman to be able to help defend the administration's warrantless wiretapping program, which was about break in The New York Times and engulf the White House.
As for there being "no evidence" to support the FBI probe, a source with first-hand knowledge of the wiretaps called that "bull****."

http://static.cqpolitics.com/harman-...098436&cpage=1

and

Contradicting an earlier statement, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Wednesday that she had been briefed about recorded surveillance of U.S. Rep. Jane Harman, according to The New York Times.

How she would forget such a briefing was not explained. Pelosi and Harman are rivals who are known for not liking each other, and the recordings in question involved an alleged quid pro quo by which a rich donor would hold back on giving money to Pelosi if she didn’t give Harman a seat on the House intelligence committee.

I'm going to go run obliviously through a field in slow-motion, twirling in gentle happy circles and tossing rose petals in the air.

You have fun in that dark, scary bunker ;)

Here ya go, Dell :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adc3MSS5Ydc

Oh and the Obama illegal alien relative living on our dime? That's priceless and consistent with the new administration's policy of do as I say not as I do! Don't work just vote. Someone else will do the work.

Your articulation is very much appreciated, but no one comes through with the punchy "seriously? shut the hell up" lines like little g.
