What if Borel wins the Belmont??

I've been pondering this question for a day now but need others input on this too. If RA goes to the Belmont or Calvin gets back on MTB or what ever happens and he ends up winning the race, will he be considered a triple crown winning jockey??? How will this be seen in a historical sense? Since this is unprecedented I believe people will have a hard time labeling this accomplishment.

Borel's ride on Mine That Board was historical. He took a 50-1 shot , got on him in the mornings and completely changed his tactics with a risky rail ride in the biggest race.

The ride on Rachel wasn't spectacular but he got the job done. Many jockeys could have won with her that day. Considering her move to the top also coincided with the switch to Borel (from BJ Hernandez), he deserves some extra credit.

Can he win with Chocolate Candy or some other horse in the Belmont? Rachel isn't running and Mike Smith picked up the mount on Mine That Bird. It would be really impressive. I think if he pulls that off you have to put his name in a paragraph somewhere in the books.

Is this confirmed?

So what you are saying is the only way Borel gets any accolades for winning the triple crown on different horses is if he gets on another longshot in the Belmont and wins?
It would be less of an accomplishment if he won on RA?

Really what im looking for is what context would this be in if he ends up winning the Belmont. Would he be considered a "triple crown winning jockey" or just a jockey that won the 3 three races.

I asked this in another thread... Don't think a jockey has ever done what he has done with the Oaks/Derby/Preakness..and then to add a possible Belmont win on top would surely be a first.

Would Borel be eligible to collect on the Visa $5 million triple crown sweep thingy?

Maybe they would pay him 10% of that?
