so if Bush is the worst President of all time.... surely Pelosi is the worst Speaker of the House of all time??

Even Dems cant stand her.. She makes Obama looks like Reagan.

How she keeps getting elected and put as Speaker is beyond me. She would have made the buget 100 trillion dollars if it was up to her and put a pack of Lifestyles in everyones pocket.

An update:

Its easy to hate waterboarding now.
But ~2 years after 9/11 apparently
is was not such a horrible technique,
one big Democrat let it slip her mind
apparently.

Looked the other way...

Smooth Operator 05-11-2009 09:30 PM

Don't you have a few more pizzas to deliver tonight, Cannon?

dalakhani 05-11-2009 11:29 PM

She is smart and tough and unfortunately owes too many favors.

Her and Reid are Obama's biggest problems.

SOREHOOF 05-18-2009 02:58 PM

She gets a pass like Dodd and Frank? These yahoos can get away with pretty much anything. Time to clean (the) House. Senate too. This Bimbo can't even remember which lie to retell.

gales0678 05-18-2009 05:21 PM

can't the american people demand term limits , i mean come on step aside and give some others a chance - they can't be any worse (both sides of the aisle)

pgardn 05-18-2009 07:32 PM

She is not fooling anyone.
She knew what was going on and did not
bring it up. She made it an issue when it
was politically expedient and it has backfired.

I dont care what her political party is she lied
and now she is backtracking and making it even
worse.

pointman 05-19-2009 12:33 AM

It is time for her to go .

There already are term limits. One term at a time. It's up to the good people of California. Maybe they approve of her. I've been trying to vote my "representatives" out for years.

I don't disagree -- term limits shouldn't be necessary, but we've already invalidated the one central assumption of the political writings that founded our philosophy as a nation: "Given a reasonable populace, ..."

Our population is now polarized, and many of those who vote Democratic are voting for a check. I don't care if it's a social security check, welfare check, unemployment check -- whatever it is...if you are voting for a check you are bought and paid for. And THAT is why term limits appear to be necessary. The real answer is to reduce the dependency on these checks. The voter doesn't use reason anymore -- just dependency.

The Republicans vote for a check too, but it's their own paycheck, and they'd like to keep more of it -- not entirely unreasonable.

Danzig 05-19-2009 09:30 PM

i think there should be term limits for congress. most states have them and of course the president does as well. it would certainly prevent much feathering of nests for one. another bonus would be no retirement paid-i believe after just two terms, you get a pension. that's outrageous.
