Inez Watch!!!

O for the meet so far

The Indomitable DrugS 05-04-2009 08:58 PM

The meet just started.

And do not start another thread about her without pics of her flexing.

She would whip both our asses

(This was more of a busting towards Spencer, whose facination with her is way over the top)

IrishofNDMan 05-04-2009 09:08 PM

I was at Arlington both Saturday and Sunday and she absolutely killed me at the windows!

The Indomitable DrugS 05-04-2009 09:08 PM

He has good taste.

Minus the whole gay part.

She will be 10% at best this year, figure that into the handicapping, no more *bug

brianwspencer 05-04-2009 09:17 PM

Slow night, Tom?

It's all good. You said she wouldn't break 10% for the meet without the bug, and she will.

Enjoy it now....I'll wait for the other 95 days of the meet before declaring victory. This is as close as you're going to be, so soak it up.

Actually just catching up on the first three days and I happen to see her not doing anything.

You just HAD to mention her winning the jock title last year at Hawthorne in the AP Live blog didn't you :p

Can't give my boy Thorton his props singlely

Of course I did, they went at it through both meets at Hawthorne. She won one and he won one, would you expect anything less? C'mon, you know that the "Inez" tag on my blog is going to be one of the most used tags all season long.

Hey, for not having a winner, she's something like sixth in earnings. She'll get in her groove just like she did last year.

Stop it with the avatar.

You are greatly underestimating the power of the 'bug'. Brandon Meier has absolutely zero chance of being a jockey after he loses it, both because he is brutal and because he is going to have weight issues.

I am guessing she will be 0 for 35 by Saturday and probably get one on me Saturday :)

Brandon Meier is going to have zero chance of being a jockey because not only the weight issues, but because he's just flat out not very good. I've never said Inez is a world-beater, but she's an infinitely more naturally gifted rider than BMeier could ever be.

So that's something in her corner. She'll find her groove. She found it with crap horses last year when she started to get good. She didn't need the bug, it wasn't getting her any good horses until the end of the meet any way. Her streak about 8 weeks into the meet started on BAD horses that she used to get. It'll all even out.

I had her in 3 of my exacta boxes at AP Saturday when I was there.... needless to say, those went straight into into the trash.

That race was less won by Inez than it was lost by Douglas. Classic Rene Douglas ride

I was taunting him all day when he rolled to the track in a blazer, should have seen this preppy roll.

Her win total gets a * because today's stakes win really doesn't count.

Was an absolute brutal beat, as I just said in another thread. I keyed the 2 with the 1,4,7 in exactas and used the 3 in tri's, plus had all sorts of stuff going with multi race, the DD ticket I had alone with the 8 in the race before was paying 1k....Probably a top three beat for me financially because it probably cost me >5k, if the 7 stays second

Instead I had a measly $3 Exacta saver
