Speaking of which, it occurs to me that the C/O means the TS.com player pool struck out...

randallscott35 05-04-2009 08:43 AM

If it were a weekend I'd definitely try and play this but I can't get over there on a weekday. But carryovers that big are great value.

oh ok so they put together some monster ticket and it failed to hit. Guesses on total pool on Wednesday? Maybe 1.75 Million

hoovesupsideyourhead 05-04-2009 08:47 AM

also the super high 5 co pool is huge fyi

Mike9J 05-04-2009 10:30 AM

The players pool had 5 consos, and obviously no hi 5. Mine that Bird was on none of there tickets.

I read they had 3 or 4 consos of 5/6 @ 1700 each from a 75k pool... they put about 50k into pick 6, the other 25k into super hi-5 and superfectas

robfla 05-04-2009 01:24 PM

Super Hi 5 Carryover $251,865

for every $10.00 put in, the players got $1.82 return.

and here is the email they sent out today to everyone of their members:

With a $781,146 carryover in the Pick-6 and a $251,865 carryover in the Super Hi-5 wager, there is over a million dollars to begin the day.

The TwinSpires.com Players' Pool returns in an attempt to take down both wagers. The Pool is now open for contributions. Click here to learn more.

Small fields but looks difficult to me.

Capped it last night, and was hoping the small fields would make it playable on something resembling a budget.

Not really feeling like that's possible...can't find any singles in it, which kills me.

pmacdaddy 05-05-2009 11:58 AM

Anyone know likely track conditions, On/Off Turf for Wed?

Thanks

Thanks

I just saw a weather report that said, it was going to rain everywhere east of Oklahoma City tomorrow.
I am guessing sloppy and off.

Good guess......we are approaching the 40 days and 40 nights rain here in Maryland. Very depressing.....I don't know how people live in climates like Seattle where apparently this happens frequently.

We were just discussing here at work. Someone mentioned that Seattle has the highest suicide rate in the country. Now I'm starting to understand.

slotdirt 05-05-2009 03:04 PM

Fact: Washington, DC's annual rainfall is actually higher than that of Seattle. Ours just comes in droves.

chucklestheclown 05-05-2009 03:54 PM

I thought it looked tough. With the rain maybe it will carry again. TVG has a special on at 5pst about it.

Rootdog1 05-05-2009 04:28 PM

is TVG taking wagering on churchill now or was that just for the derby?
