Obama May Revive Gitmo Military Courts

In politics, you can rarely take the criticism that one party lays on the other party seriously. Half the time, the criticism is just for political gain. The military courts are a perfect example. The Obama administration criticized Bush over the use of military courts and now it seems that the Obama administration realizes that the military courts are a good idea.

obama was critical of the whole gitmo deal. said he was going to close it immediately i believe.
interesting how things change once you get in there, and see the whole picture.

This court will be different. It will be transparent, democratic, with lots of hope and cost 10X as much. It will also be used to persecute, I mean prosecute Americans with fairness and understanding for the enemy combatants as its guiding light. Perhaps even a little vocational training in piracy and drug running/money laundering to send the guests off with new purpose and a future.
