There were only 17 runners in the field, but Ten Cents a Shine in 2003. Won his debut at CD, finished second in the KJC, won an allowance at GP, then showed he was ready for the big time by losing the Fountain of Youth by 24, the San Felipe by 13, and then the Blue Grass by 43.
