Quick question for those who have been to the oaks derby
 

I have the oppurtunity to buy section 117 seats off a friend who will not be attending the oaks due to unforseen circumstances. This section seems to be right on the finish line. Would i be better off with these tickets or going with my original tickets in in section 323? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the option to wait a day or two - you might want to to monitor the weather/rain forecast

I sat in Section 116 Row K a couple years back for the Derby. Atmosphere is great and you'll definitely want to look nice. Here is the view you'll get.

tiznow, its going to rain, it has rained every year i have gone to the oaks. These seats are under cover which helps a great deal.

Hustle-thanks for the pictures, Looking nice is probably a main reason my wife wants to sit in the stands. I much prefer the infield with shorts, a tee-shirt and a couple of cold beers. However, she needs a reason to buy an overpriced hat and a new dress that she will wear exactly 3 times... Converting my wife into a horse racing fan is not the utopian fantasy i had envisioned:)

In the 300's section you will see the entire race over the clutter of the infield tents, etc.
In the 100's sections you will have a good view of the stretch and the finish if you are in the first two or three rows.
Anything after those first rows you will see the back of people's heads.
