Happy and Blessed to be alive

At this very time, 1 year ago I was in the back of that ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Thank you Lord for another chance at life. Thank the doctors and nurses that took care of me. Thanks to all my friends from the board that prayed and sent best wishes my way during that time.

LOL...was talking to Gander about this earlier this morning and told him today was the 1 year anniv. His response "You know, I was thinking about that. I knew it happened on Whitney weekend last year." Leave it to my good buddy to relate everything to horse racing.:D

LOL, thats how I remember everything. Niece's birthday usually falls on Sword Dancer weekend, my Mom's on Dubai World Cup, etc.

Glad to have you around. Who else would want to listen to my track stories, the good but mostly the very bad?

Couldn't imagine being anywhere else than here. I did laugh quite hard when I hung up with you this morning....

What I remember is being at my friend Jay's rehersal dinner, stepping outside at appx 7pm and calling you to find out the reults of the last race at Saratoga. I had a double going with Commentator from the Whitney, I needed some horse with Jet in its name. It didnt win. You didnt answer your phone and I kept trying and trying to no avail. I knew you were at a party so I thought nothing of it. Maybe you were getting lucky with some lucky girl.

Next day was his wedding and thats when I spoke to your Mom.

Good to have more young people on the board! Sometimes seems like the place is full of old fogies that do nothing but bitch, moan, and complain. I think thats why I love it here :)
