DT.com aesthetic changes, enhancements..

Have a number of format and design changes being implemented around the ol' website today, the first of which seems to be visable already above... Notably, the front page will start to utilize 'feeds' and wider use of current news technology with commenting ability. I'll fall short of using the word blog to describe it... There will also be a number of different people contributing to the front page Commentary column, and anyone interested in submitting an "Op-Ed" style piece is welcome to do so.

Also on the way, the long-ignored Photo Section will be revamped, and more specific Dee Tee Stables information is likely to have its' own page. Please feel free to comment on changes or suggest new ideas as I look to keep making DT as fresh and informative as possible. And thanks as always to everyone who contributes to the information flow and frivolous fun around here...

What browser are you using?

Kasept 03-02-2009 09:28 AM

This is the part where you provide feedback, so, so far, Pants and BTW aren't liking the masthead graphic. To be honest, I didn't expect the photo to show up here in the Forum like this, so if people find it distracting, it is easily rectified... :wf

I think it looks good, using IE 7 1680 x 1050

Travis Stone 03-02-2009 09:45 AM

It's a cool shot, but it's not in proportion to the original photo it seems and it pushes down the content quite a bit... it's a bit large.

joeydb 03-02-2009 09:51 AM

Uh, I like the pic... :D

The webdev guy, Dave, is still tinkering with things as he rolls over some of the new content/pages. That whole page isn't supposed to be there at all. Work in progress...

TheSpyder 03-02-2009 10:38 AM

Those are all the new words Steve is going to introduce this year.

Being a member of DT stables, I like the picture. Which race is it?
