Could EL CHILE DOG have gone FASTER?
Dominguez just cruised by the leaders in late stretch, never moving a muscle, while EL CHILE DOG ran all on his own on a loose rein.
It's been argued that in these situations the horse is going as fast as it can; forget about the lack of pumping or whipping by the jock.
Watching the late stretch run, with the other jocks whipping and extending and Ramon tucked and immobile kind of works against this. Must be an optical illusion.:rolleyes:
