Affirmatif

wow.

another Unbridleds Song 3y.o. runs huge

The Indomitable DrugS 02-28-2009 06:13 PM

Went faster than the older males did in the weak Grade 3 stake at the same distance on the card.

This one's out of a good Affirmed mare and is very closely related to Rubiano, Tapit, and Glitterman in the tail-female family.

Zensational, the Unbridled's Song 3yo second time starter that broke his maiden with a 104 Beyer on the synthetic out west last week, he was actually sold for just 20K as a yearling in September ... and resold for 700K at a Feb 2yo sale.

Certainly one of the great pinhooks of all-time. They had him for just five months and got 35 times what they paid for him.

 he decimated that field.

nice day for Pletcher there today.

He finished the final quarter in 22 4/5ths without much encouragement.
This one has a huge future if he stays healthy. Wonder if they will try the dirt?

Velazquez might want to ride the next Unbridled's Song 3yo that Pletcher debuts.

I really think Todd was trying to throw DeCarlo a bone there. :tro: :$:
He was love for the meet.

You're probably right, but in my opinion DeCarlo is a very good turf rider.

I liked how he was whipping the horse when he was ahead by ten coming down the stretch.:D
Looks like TAP has another tail swisher on his hands, ala Idol Maker.
Which is the ONLY 2 things those 2 horses have in common, Affirmitif actually has some talent.

DeCarlo is a better turf rider than John R. now. John R. literally s.hits his pants on the turf course.

Are you sure on that 20k? Could have been a typo somewhere. That seems almost impossible with that breeding.

I agree. JV loves to take just about every horse he rides on the turf extremely wide on the turn for home.
