at gp your pics in 3rd and 6th look strongest, other 2 at gp might be compromised by an early pace, and last race wide open loaded with firsters but yours is as good as any

I like your Fountain of Youth play.

Just curious why you are laying off the Sham (9th at Santa Anita) when you've looked at the card. I haven't figured my angles entirely, but I'm thinking that if you're going to go with the $20 place bets there might be money to be made with that style considering the pools the race should get. I'm probably going to go a trifecta angle in the Sham against the #5 (Pamplemousse?) as one of my two or three plays of the day.

Race 9 is a tough play with many in the race on different agendas
CandyMan has the earnings... Notonthesamepage wants and needs the lead so how will the other front running horses handle it????? If you toss BWEdisons last and he repeats fall efforts ... he's even in the mix.... Love the horse but tough race....

at the Anita..... the one and five are in my trifecta... but I have Liberian Freighter solidly on top....

I like the pick but very tough. I think Not....page gets used a bit early so he doesn't get shuffled back and engages a lasix fueled quality Road. They battle to the middle of the turn and then Taqurab, Candymancan and Phil move and battle. I like Taqurab here but theregoesjojo is scary here. And it is tough to know if beethoven/bwe are going to come back to form or not.

some smart picks,logicals and some money plays, i only disagree with the 9th
#10 is not even in my top five i like to box 1237,12 good luck today. i would reverse your bet and go 20w 10p just my thoughts.

Regarding Taqurub, his big race last time came when breaking from the inside post as the only speed on the Aqu inner. That to me is not a great recipe for success next time out when trying a 2f stretchout in a race with the likes of Notonthesamepage and Quality Road also figuring to be on the front end.
He seems unlikely to me, but there is no denying that his last race was fast and he should be a reasonable price, so I couldn't really blame anyone for taking a shot. This is a tough race.
