Costa Rising
 

For any Louisiana horseracing fans, former LA HOY Costa Rising is running at FG race 5 in a much anticipated comeback.:)

He won the first stakes race I ever called. At the time, I called him "Coasta" due to some bad information and later on called him "Cost-a-rising" which I originally thought was accurate. He's a nifty horse, is quite talented and fun to watch in this area.

This is a horse that I really like.

He had to work today, but he won. Dont think turf is his favorite. Later in the card another Royal Strand won for Sam Breaux. I was at the rail at EVD when he won those two races back to back with the high speed figures. He looked like a freakin machine down the stretch.
