Anyone else experienced this?
i went skiing up in the local socal mountains. it was a decent winter weekend. lots of natural snow falling.
i fell once and got some "snu" on my jacket. i think it left a stain. is that stuff supposed to stain? |
What is snu?
I also was skiing this weekend, had a race. Crashed in a training run and tore my rotator cuff and fractured the ball joint. Season possibly over, I couldn't be more depressed right now. |

really sorry my horrible horrible joke got piled on top of that misfortune. i feel like a real dickfor. where were you racing? |
Damn p-ski...Sorry to hear that and hope you heal up well. Skiing is not to be taken lightly. The time before last, I was hauled off the mountain by the ski patrol on a snowmobile.
Take care and ease back into things. |

God I love skiing. Pure freedom. I have some major tricks I perform. Most involve falling down. Im not exactly a X-games kinda guy. |

Ouch! Hope everything is ok. I guess I'd be depressed too but thank goodness it wasn't worse. Get well soon. Leo |
Well... went to the doctor yesterday... it's even worse than I had thought. Torn rotator cuff and fractured ball joint. Probably going to need surgery, I have no lateral ability in my left arm now. In a sh1tload of pain, but it has subsided significantly in the last 24 hours. The only good news is I can still ski this season if I can deal with the pain, since it's going to require surgery I can't really make it any worse.

if you do go back out skiing, be careful! |

You need to go to Pure Platinum to deal with the pain! |

If it were me (it isn't, but I did have to get a new bionic knee this past summer and go through pain and rehab ... ) from the surgeons point of view I'd vote for "surgery now" = less crap and scarring to try and clean out of the joint than when doing it later, and as you have some fractures will also likely decrease chance of permanent arthritic changes that will haunt you forever. I'm just saying ... ;) |
