"RTTR" open: Derby Trail league set up..

Road to the Roses opened yesterday for registration, and the Derby Trail league is set up for joining. I believe we had about 75 entries last year, and DrugS won it (I think). Will have DT prizes, (unless DrugS wins again). Here's the sign-up info:

What is Road to the Roses? Is it open to anyone? Where do I go?

it's a contest in which you select horses on the triple crown trail, and hopefully earn points throught the spring by selecting horses from your stable as they run prep races.
and yes, it is open to everyone. and can be maddening! i think i'm giving it a pass this year. go to derby trail dot com.

Note that residents of Florida and Louisiana, where a big chunk of preps are run, are not eligible to receive prizes.

I'm signing up now and reading all the rules, and I see they have the picks of some of the experts listed.

One of them experts is Justin Dew!!

Maybe that's why that guy awhile back asked him if he's the real Justin Dew!

The Indomitable DrugS 02-10-2009 02:06 PM

Is he the real Justin Dew?

How about instead of worrying about comedy people you clean our your PM box.

Sorry.

It's just that it's hard letting go of some of the old love poems KyRim sent me.

I really like this RTTRoses contest, it's of utmost importance to get right on it, it starts this weekend with the Sam F Davis and the El Camino Real

Roll Tide Racing Stable is in

Dylbert's DT Super Delta Rebels!

Signup today... I enjoyed last year's competition. Hopefully, my sophomore effort will show some improvement.

Big Drama & West Side Bernie from Delta Jackpot and Friesan Fire & Flying Pegasus from Risen Star anchor my 2009 stable. Having seen all four compete in Louisiana has been thrill! Going to Louisiana Derby in March -- and may make journey to the other Spa, Hot Springs, for Arkansas Derby. It's my birthday, too!

With over 400 nominees, we should have plenty to discuss (or merely 'cus) during this year's Derby Trail. Good luck to all & let's all enjoy to competition.

And, may a DTer take RTTR prize (if they don't live in Louisiana - grrr!)

I've got my stable, and used the codes to join the Derby Trail league, thanks you.

I went through the DT league's stables, an awful lot of commonalities, which could be good(or disastrous for all)

However, I threw in Perfect Song as an under the radar type

I wanted to add 'Song, but wasnt sure where he would run next, seems the trainer isnt sure either. But man, is first at Philly was a beautiful thing. Of course I had him, since I am a Pleasantly Perfect stalker.hehe
