Every single thing the MD Dem pols have done regarding slots has been disgraceful so why wouldn't the taxation of the revenue be the same?
Add to that the owner of the Baltimore City slots location has to pay $36mil a year in rent to Baltimore for renting the property the slots facility will sit on. And the rent fee was decided by a Dem mayor who stands accused of spending donated gift cards intended for the needy, on herself at Christmas.
And I'll wager all of license bids submitted, with the exception of the Magna bid, will be from a group that will include a member of the MD Democratic party leadership or former MD Dem politician that was agaisnt passing slots when a Rep Gov was in place.
