Which horse would you be?

Okay, the beautiful MMSC, with her excellent taste in music, is so good at starting threads like these, that she's inspired me to try one. Apologies if one like this has been done before:

If you were a racehorse, past or present, who would you be? Not who you'd want to be, but who you think you would be-- for example, if I were a racehorse, I'd be Megahertz, because like her, I'm little, and also like her I tend to hang back until you think no way I'll get the job done and then come through at the very last moment. In racing they call it "closing." In the rest of the world they call it "procrastinating."

So, based on your personality, who would you be?

that's easy Funny Cide
I did big things when I was young
and then never lived up to any expectations
plus I lost my nuts in a poker game
and I got beat up in high school on the bus

Ooooh, great thread, Dahlink!

I think I'd be my favorite horse of all time... Rakti. Kind-hearted to those he loved yet a little bit wild (ie, difficult).....

(Oh okay, so he was completely nuts).:D

Yeah..... Rakti.

What a tough question!
So many crossed my mind, but I just have to say Native Dancer.
He won 21 of 22, quite the temperment too!
And I'm geting a few grey hairs at my temples, so I guess I'm even starting to look like him.

Life's Magic
She earned her money the old fashioned way--workin hard...
her second career has not been as good as the first...but her final foal has the chance to redeem her reputation
She is as kind and sweet as they come--but still so tough and game.
Mostly though just because I love her.

very easy.....English Channel of course.

We are both small in stature, but we have HUGE HEARTS.

Right now, I feel like Zippy Chippy but hopefully I'd be more like Calledon's Prospect...he ran 79 races and always gave his best, never won anything big but did win a stake race in his 19 victories and was the favorite on the backstretch cause of his even temperment...smarter than the average horse!

I don't know who I would be, but I would like to be Woodman. Covers a book of 200+ mares shuttling between KY and Australia.
