Discreet Empire

Not sure it has been mentioned yet, fine broodmare's Pretty Discreet and half to Discreet Cat makes her debut in the 2nd today at GP.

The Mott(who has been sending out debut winners this meet) 1ster Touch Of Charm is also well connected. Interesting race for a couple of well bred debuters. Perhaps a couple of horses that will be heard from in the future.

I highly doubt we will ever here of any filly coming out of that race.

The winner is not much, Was not much coming in, clearly. The runner up is now officialy a Hanger. Does she not qualify in your book ? 3 runner up efforts, including today when she had dead aim and just did not get the win.

Isn't that statement premature based on one race, Discreet Empire is by Empire Maker, not known for firing 1ster's out of the gate. This horse stands a great chance improving with more racing, especially going around 2 turns. The Mott horse is well connected also, she's in good hands and Mott horses usually improve with more racing. Whether they become stars in the game, no one knows at this stage. But I wouldn't say that based on a single debut race.
