You and I may be the only ones who have any idea who Royal Raymond Rife was.

Oh good lord...

Hallucinations - 10000, 880, 787, 727, 20

These frequencies cure hallucinations...
The first one would most likely cause them.
Extraordinarily irritating.

it's easy to get personal testimony in support of medical fraud.

most people have back pain sometime in their lives. in almost all cases, it'll go away by itself in a few weeks with no treatment. but throw in some rife treatments during the interim and you have ae posting here about it's wonders.

and it's a typical deflection that proponents of quackery want to turn the table and accuse a medical establishment which requires replicable experimental results of prejudice.

but acupuncture's efficacy was questioned in western medicine for a period of time until studies proved it worked. and it's now an accepted adjunct to other therapy.

so i don't buy the idea that following the advise of a trained medical professional makes me a sheep.

if you needed a haircut, would you go to a holistic barber who does the job with crystals and his aura?

if not, it isn't because you're one of those sheep who believe everything told to them by people with barber poles. it's because you have more sense when it comes to your grooming than you do when it comes to your health.

I just said that - I don't have a rife machine. My back is still killing me.

People in this country are too quick to dismiss alternative health therapies, all the while zealously defending an industry that absolutely is the leading cause of death in the western world.

It's a source of constant amazement for me, that people will mock a holistic modality of healing, or even a simple supplement that has had 'peer reviewed' studies done on it showing how dangerous it is, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Do you really believe everything our government, doctors, health agencies spews out at us? I'm guessing you probably have a high sense of disbelief with these things, except when it comes to health issues.

The thing I really find amazing, as I was mentioning above, is that these people will lose it about something like a simple vitamin that was shown to have an adverse effect in one person, all the while triumphing how great pharmaceuticals are.

It's utterly ridiculous that people are afraid of a vitamin, a natural food (say raw milk, for instance), chiropractic care, etc, while gobbling down a drug that has killed over 100,000 Americans. Say, Vioxx, for one.

Don't forget, since you mentioned acupuncture, that mainstream medicine once mocked, ridiculed and tried vehemently to discredit this old method of healing. The only reason it is now acceptable is because ordinary everyday people like us made an informed decision and refused to cave in to the fear and hysteria that western medicine tried to instill in us. If something works, people will talk about and share their experiences with it.
