Pre cable, it was a neat event because you could see players from teams you normally didn't get to see and only read about or saw on Cosell's MNF highlights. Now, you see all these guys every day so the event just meaningless.

NFL: The pro bowl is useless. It's just a way to get a free vacation to Hawaii. Next year it will be Florida, lets see how many players pull themselves out. But since you probably have the greatest chance to get hurt playing football, I think most of the guys don't play full speed and more importantly without the intensity (which is understandable).
MLB: Just another boring baseball/pitching exibition. It's tough enough having to hit against a guy like Johan Santana for nine innings. But to have to face him for 2 innings then Sabathia, then Hamels and so on is borderline impossible. What's the big deal about watching a 3-2 game? (unless you like watching pitchers duels that retire the side constantly, I don't) I think the pitchers have a huge huge advantage. And the whole home field for the world series is ridiculous, IT'S A DAMN EXIBITION GAME!
NBA: I used to enjoy this game so so much. I feel like I grew up in the greatest era of the NBA, So to watch all the great players on the court together, in a big showboat no look all oop fest without anyone playing defense was awesome. It's almost like watching today's regular NBA, you have no one who plays defense, but not too many great players. I think it's unwatchable.
NHL: I still enjoy the NHL hockey game. An all offensive game played by all the best scorers in the leauge. Exciting and very fast paced(which is the way that they are trying to make the leauge), no hitting is a negative. But you don't want to see anyone get hurt in a all star game. Probably the best and most entertaining out of the 4 major sports, at least in my opinion.
