seems like its been 10 years sence he went down..any shot of a comeback?

Matt I am pretty sure he had his cord severed. He was discharged to chronic rehab but I don't think I have heard since but Byk and BTW usually have their finger on that pulse..

No recovery from total seveing of a spinal cord but the stem cell thing has promise..

So I'll take spinal injuries for $800 Alec....

Why the hell was that hit on McGhee (sp?) not a spearing penalty....I threw up on myself when Sims said no such thing for a ball carrier!! BS...If that was a QB they would have tossed the DB.

he led with his shoulder not his head. he also didn't leave his feet to deliver the blow. Most defenders won't spear because the injury to them is usually much greater then that to the offensive player. It was a vicious hit but in my opinion, totally legal. In many regards it was similar to the limas sweed block earlier in the game. the diffrence is defender didn't try to get lower then the offensive player.
