What about $7,500 Kamboo Man in the Big A 9th tomorrow? Threw a 108 on 12/26.

Hooves, love your handicapping picks, but every time you start talking about GS, I think that Garden State has risen from the dead:)

It's a starter allowance, not a claiming race. The former pulls way better horses since the trainers are looking for a spot to put a horse that's out of conditions where he won't get claimed.

Looks like a supreme speed duel.

7 - Ruby's Red Socks went 44 and 2 at Tampa on Saturday, that is nearly unheard of. Ziadie is 42% with returners in less than a week. Somebody has to lay off that and try to close him down going shorter. It can be done, he finishes second a lot, but I'm not seeing anyone fast enough to do it.

Lebronlebronlebronlebron

I use a rule of thumb to multiply the starter price by 2.5 to get the REAL value of the horses in the race, so $5k starters are really $12.5-$15k type animals and $10k starters are $25k type beasts.
