My message to NY Gov Paterson

What do you think ? :wf

"Begin with the NYRA, then possibly NY harness racing. In place of a Quick Draw game, televise live the NYRA race on the Quick Draw channel. Have a betting option only available through the Quick Draw system such as pick the exact order of finish of all the horses in the race . Then return to Quick Draw until the next race post time . This may enhance total daily handle . "

While for once I don't think your idea is crazy, in fact they do something similar in France called the Quince or something, you need to flesh it out more. Is it a parimutuel pool? Or does the state book the bets? Does the payout table depend on the number of runners? What's the bet minimums/maximums? What about using historical races to increase the number of possible games per day? Where does the money go that is either taken out (on a parimutuel pool) or 'won' by the state (if they are taking on the risk)?

i think paterson is too busy with important business such as demanding an apology from SNL to worry about such mundane things...

SNL is loving the publicity.

I saw the Weekend Update and thought is was funny. Nothing more, nothing less.

People are waaay too sensitive these days.

the guy obviously didn't see the episode, so i'm not sure why anyone cares about his uninformed opinion.

did someone tell him it was offensive?

the funniest part was when amy was saying goodbye, and he popped up in front of the camera...

You are nominated to the NY racing Quick Draw board . Unfortunately NY has no money to compensate you .
